THE SOCIETY

Our mission is to unite Jewish Polish survivors of the district of Cracow and all Polish Galicia; take action to combat antisemitism; strengthen our ties with our brethren throughout the world particularly Israel; and bring cultural and social events to our members.

The New Cracow Friendship Society was founded in the year 1965 by Holocaust Survivors from the city of Krakow*, Poland for the purpose of uniting all Survivors from this area under the banner of one organization. Since then, we have expanded our membership to include the regions of Polish Galicia. Our society is based in the New York Metropolitan area and has members from throughout the U.S.A., Europe and Israel.
